    Body Fat

    Is there a home method for figuring out your body fat? i tried the calculators above but dont see how they could be that accurate.

    Buy a set of calopers. There about $20. I use mine and also have it done professionally once a month. I come in at about the same. Just type in Body calipers in you search engine and buy a pair.

    Calipers - however, if you do it yourself, it's not very accurate. More accurate than bioimpedence but still, not the best. You could look into hydrostatic water dunk. That is the most accurate there but not home based.

    Yes Jodi is right. If you of the rich type i'd suggest it. Buy a set of calipers and measure the same area all the time. you'll see if your losing B/F or not. You may not have the correct measurements but will let you know if your losing B/F

    Bio Empedance is awfull your bady fat can change 13% depending how much water is in your body

    thanx for the help. i will try to locate the calipers. Also i read in paper where there is a place near me on certain days that will measure BF for 10$. As far as water, i have lost as much as 5lbs in one day from sweating. ( i work outside ) that is no fun whatso ever. talk about cramping BAD at night!!!
