    Post workout shake

    for bulking how does 1-2 cups skim milk, 1 banana, 1/2 cup rolled oats, and 2 scoops 20 g protein powder sound? Also water on the side of course

    I'd add some maltrodextrin or dexrtrose to it. Then you would be set. You want a fast acking carb after your workout.

    I would personally step up the oats to a full cup. I also would use water instead of milk, but that's just me.

    Why? I really dont think an insulin spike is necissary.. but to each his own. I use oats. Not to mention all the glucose and sugars in the banana and milk.
