Fuck yea it is. Oats and brown rice are dirt cheap, and can easily be a staple. Just make sure the oats are rolled or whole. None of that instant shit.

Theres nothing wrong with eating this much, as PreMier was saying. But make sure to try and include a bit of variety. Get yuor hands on some sweet potato and some brown rice (some some examples of some low GI carbs)

I've been eating 60 cups of rolled oats per week for 3 weeks now. I just got tired of brown rice and yams. I also down them with water or milk. Easy stuff.

I know that a variety of good carbs is optimal, but I have football coming up and I'm going to ditch the strict diet shit until the season is over. I'll stick with just the oats for now.

1st are you cutting or bulking? If bulking great. if cutting and having other carbs then to much.

There is nothing wrong with 5 cups of dry oats depending on what your goals are.

I'd imagine you haven't had any bowel problems recently have you.

If it's in the can then it's fine. Those are rolled oats. Just stay away from that packet shit.
