Where do you get maltodextrin or dextrose?

Where do you get maltodextrin or dextrose. It seems like a common thing used but I never see it sold by itself, just in some weight gain powders. I don't think I've ever seen it sold seperatly.
I read that fructose (fruit sugar) is not any good at replenlishing muscle glycogen stores, what a bummer dude....any comments?

I think it is soo cheap that the regular stores dont carry it. You might have to go to a bulk store or get it online.

    Nice, cheap is good.
Any opinions on fruit being a good post workout carb option.
I read fructose was only good at restoring liver glycogen and not muscle glycogen

How long does it take maltodextrin to be absorped? I'm thinking of using about 80g post W/O, would this be fine? I know it's called a complex carb but doesn't it break down really fast?

It does absorb quickly into the system as it's soluble in water, I think bananas are probably the best fruit although there might be some others for replenishing muscle glycogen (surcrose)?, there's another similar thread on pwo nutrition you might be interested--think it's like pwo oats or something
