Atleast your training is great. I eat the worst stuff you can possibly think of and I haven't started training at all. I go running but that's it. I can't resist my Dr. Pepper either.

Hey SkinnyMinny if you want to build muscle then I would suggest you lift weights and eat 6 times a day and don't run. You really don't need to worry about any cardio you'll just get skinnier. Also, remember that protein is very important when you are weight training. I would say I consume about 480grams right now. I'm actually training for a show so I need to have a lot of protein so I keep my muscle. Good Luck!

If I eat 6 times a day what would you suggest I eat? And what would you suggest I eat/do to consume for protein? Like I have said before, I am just starting this whole weight thing because I want to get toned. My goals aren't to enter any contests, just to be healthier and tone up.

I understand. I wasn't saying anything about you doing a contest. That is just what I do. What time do you get up?

Oh, I know you weren't saying I should do contests, I was just saying that that is not something I am interested in. Most days I have to get up at 5:30am in order to be ready for work at 7am. If I don't have to work then I usually am up by 8am.

    - NOT ENOUGH SLEEP HONEY -

I usually can't get enough either..
I try very hard to do my last meals at 7 (food) & 9 (shake w/npb also)

Um, SkinnyMinny here you go. Let me know how this works for you?

6:30am or 8am: 2 scoops of whey and oatmeal (or you could eat eggs) 4egg whites 1 yolk

8:30am or 10:30am: tuna fish and crackers or cottage cheese and yogurt (most people don't like cottage cheese or tuna). let me know.

11am or 12:30pm: (Lunch) 6oz of chicken, veggie, carb (sweet pot, brn rice, etc)
You could even eat a subway sandwich chicken on wheat bread.

2pm or 3:30pm: 2 scoops of whey & oatmeal or one of those ultramets which has like 35grams of protein and 27 grams of carbs.

when do you workout? or when will you workout?

    5pm or 6:30pm: 2 scoops of protein

7:30pm or 8:00pm: steak, chicken, fish, veggie, and a carb.

*Also, remember after you workout you should have a shake*

This is something I just put together really quick!

Hey, that is pretty good. All of that fits in to my schedule perfectly. I would be working out when I get off work, which is 7pm (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) and then 1pm (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays) and I have Sundays off.

I know for sure when October comes I will be getting my 8 hours of sleep b/c that's when I plan to bulk. Need sleep to grow!

Good. You shouldn't have a problem. What are you stats right now? Like your height, weight, age?

I would also suggest you get the book "Body for Life" Bill Phillips. You will learn a lot from that book. Also, pick up Oxyen or Muscle & Fitness for Hers. Should help you out.

    Age: 18
    Height: 5'7
    Weight: 116lbs

Is there a certain type of whey or protein that I should be getting? And when I do start working out should it be at the same time every day I work out or does it matter?

Sorry for all the questions but I am really interested in getting toned and you are very helpful. Thanks so much for answering all my questions!

You should figure out that timing out somewhat as you go...
    Everyone is diffferent.

Follow the basics that the other girls lay out for you
and make adjustments to your own body's reactions to the diet
and schedule your training around your own daily grind

If you stick around you will be "Tone" in no time -

Wow. Your right! You need to put on some muscle at 5'7 weighing 116lbs!!!

No, certain type of protein. I would suggest you buy it online though it's cheaper. www.1fast400.com. I would suggest you start working out now. If you can. No, it doesn't have to be at the same time everyday. Just whenever you can. Start out lifting weights 3-4 days a week.

Haha, I told you I needed to gain some muscle. I am already skinny enough, I dont need to lose any weight what so ever.

Thanks for all your help. Well, now I have my diet down, I just need to get a workout schedule going and then I will be set. I could actually start working out today after I get off work.

Hell yeah girl!!! Go for it!!! Your very welcome. If you ever have any questions please ask me. I don't mind. It's what I love to do. Also, your a very pretty girl. Putting on more muscle will look hot. haha.. anyways, remember by eating by this diet and lifting weights that you will gain weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. Don't worry about doing cardio too much. But, if you do like to run.. just do it here and there for your heart and lungs. Good luck to you!
