whole grain rice or something like that?

So my dad says he's going to cook dinner tomorrow night and that he's going to fix some Pork loins, whole grain rice or whole wheat rice (can't remember which he said) and some brocoli. He says that the rice is the same as brown rice (just different name). Is that true?

whole grain rice and integral rice are other names for brown rice ... (beware that some companies put brown rice on the label while the rice is not integral [they bleach it and color it])

You should know because the texture is hard compared with white rice.

never heard of whole wheat rice before.
