im pretty sure you need to bake it at a high temp like 450 or so degrees for about 10 mins or so, to bring out the oils of the almonds, then just grind it up into a paste in either a processor/blender/or coffee grinder, then if its not pasty enough, mash it in a bowl until it becomes a "butter". You could add in a little honey/splenda/cinnamon etc also to give it some of your own flavor if you want.
