thats a hard one. most natural foods are kinna expensive, exspecially in nyc. Pathmark usually have a natural section, i think. i find that chinatown has the cheapest foods though. bananas are 3lbs for a dollar, cant get any cheaper than that.

I'm around there this coming Monday to some work for State Department and you are right, Bananas are very cheap there.

You can even get a lunch specail there for only $4.00....for those around NYC you know that's cheap. Go to a regular deli and a sandwhich with a drink can cost almost $10.00.

yea, I have been to all of them. It is clean(ish) food. I wonder about the quality of the meat though because the price is relatively cheap.

I guess we'll never know... I wouldnt be shocked if it wasnt as clean as it suppose to be. There was an article about some of the diet meals containing more calories than stated a little while ago. i dont remember if i read it here or the newspaper. Anyway, i rather cook my own meal than eat out, but sometimes its not an option.

actually a place that is really good that is poping up around the city is Better Burger! The burgers are awesome there and they have beef, chicken, turkey and ostritch. Whole grain buns and the fries (if you eat them...I am not a big fan of fries) are air popped. The food is really clean and the menu has calorie and macronutrient breakdown as well. It is good quality meat too because you pay a little extra for the food you are getting but it is worth it.
