    Anyone live in a dorm?

I'm about to move to college (Texas Tech) and I know it's going to be tough keeping a good diet. Hopefully the food place will offer good meals. Just wondering if anyone is or has gone through this.

I have lived, and currently do live in a dorm. The dining halls generally have a large variety of food. It's annoying though, as you are limited to what you can make in your room. You will likely have a micro-fridge(small microwave/small fridge). Oatmeal, fruits, cold cuts, bread, etc might not be a problem. But a 4 course meal you may have to save for the dining hall. The main selections are sometimes limited, and high in fat.
My school has a deli line where there are always cold cuts. You can always make suggestions to your food service place. And buy a lot of your own. It won't be impossible at college, just don't drink to much.
