    college and bulking

Hey I just recently got back into working out and in about 2 weeks im going to be heading off to college. Although I am going to be able bring some protein / carb supplement down with me I won't have access to a full kitchen as im going to be living in the dorms. I could use some advice on what type of cafeteria food I should look for and if it is still possible to bulk up and make gains while not being able to adhere to a stricter regimen of brown rice / chicken breast etc. I am 6' 2" 160 lbs, 18 yrs old and would like to add as much muscle as possible. Thanks for the help

    1) college is the best place to bulk. The cafeteria food and beer will help you put on some solid weight.

    B) At 6'2" and 160lbs I would say just eat....and eat......and keep eating....eat everything.....everything you can eat.....whatever fits in your mouth.....eat as much as you possibly fucking can!!

    18 yrs old????

Better throw in some quarter pounders, and large chocolate shakes...

And don't forget a bucket of Kentucky fried chicken before bed,
this will give you extra squat strength...

If you start to feel sluggish, do some running or something

After having been at college a year... my advice is the same as p's. EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. Bring natty pb + almond sandwhiches with you, buy cans of chicken (yes, they have cans of chicken breast i lived off that shit), tuna cans, whey, natty pb, almonds, whole wheat bread, wraps with all kinds of deli meats, bananas, oats, apples, PIZZA!, BEEF JERKY (a fucking life saver, quick and a shit load of cals!) ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, have SOMETHING to eat with you, ALWAYS!

Your going to have to cheat alot more than your going to want to, the upside to that is your body will constantly be changing. IE: you'll get bigger faster and when you do wanna cut its alot easier, just your LBM gains wont be as quick or as clean, but its the best you can do.

Oh and drink alot of milk too. Choc milk, reg milk, any kind... drink that shit. bring sandwhiches, shakes with u to class. put ur shake in a shaker bottle or whatever u can fit it in, bring a loaf of bread in ur backpack, anything u can fit in there jam it the fuck in and EAT all day long. And drink alot of natty ice!

I'm also 6'2" and after a surgery last year my weigh dropped to 160 Lbs, I was around 163 Lbs at the beginning of this year (2005), I started eating a lot of oatmeal with milk and egg whites for breakfast, I used to make the oatmeal the night before school, add some granola, boil around 5 eggs while taking a shower, then just take the whites and carry everything in a plastic container inside my bag, and eating that at school for breakfast, the I started using weight gainers (Cyto Gainer, ON Serious Mass, now N Large). I was eating anything at anytime, cuz I'm bulking, so now (Sept. 2005) I'm 190 Lbs, I have no idea of my bf% though. I think is pretty high.
But I was in your situation, and just eat a good heavy breakfast at least 5 days a week, for lunch eat anything u like, and bring some pb sandwiches, protein bars or protein shakes to school, you'll see results if you are consistent!

    Good Luck
