It depends on your size, activity, current dietary fat content, goals etc etc...

But generally - I wouldn't use it at all. Get fish oils and take those (6 to 8 capsules a day) and then use sources such as olive oil or avocado first, then whole or ground nuts/seeds second... and only then, if you so require it, would I turn to flax oil.

Why? Because of the relatively high omega-6 content - so if you just add it in without ensuring you have enough omega-3 all you will do is unbalance your omega-3 : omega-6 ratio, which does more harm than good.

This is a pretty open ended question - but generally speaking, it is only 2g of fat.... and that is basically nothing at all... If you are trying to add more healthy fats in your diet you are going to need more than that.

Should be fine... But it is really impossible to say unless you tell us more about what you eat/when etc etc...

Yes you should get them... And the name:
    Fish oil capsules

They may be called salmon oil sometimes - but usually they are just fish oils. But don't get cod liver oil (this is different)...

The fish oils should have something like:
    300mg marine triglycerides with -
    120mg DHA
    180mg EPA

For fats i usually have peanut better as my only source of healthy fats.
This is certainly not your best choice (why it is the BB community has latched onto it as 'the BEST fat source' I will never understand!)...

A bit is fine, but you are better off with fish oils, olive oil, avocado, walnuts and linseeds.

Also, if you have a Sam's club membership they have by far the best prices on fish oil. They also sell more concentrated fish oil that has something like 450 mg epa-dha, so you take fewer pills for the same amount of omega-3's. They are also enteric coated so you don't get nasty fish burps.
