Does Crystal lite affect the effectiveness of water?

ok I'm doing 4-5liters a day and water is just boring (taste wise), I started adding a dab of crystal lite to my water and now I can do 5-6 liters easy.. Question is, does that take away from the 'purity' of the water? Or is liquid just liquid (non alhoholic that is)

    Thanks

I am by no means an expert but Walmart makes their own version of sugar free, calorie free, sodium free flavored mix that you can pour into water bottles. One of the girls at my gym who did a fitness competition got me hooked on this stuff. It comes in many different flavors. The orange sunrise one is the only one with 0 sodium. I'm sure it has some chemicals in it but it does not have the calories or the carbonation that is in Crystal Light.

I drink 6 litres a day of Chrystal Light, only time I drink plain old water is during workouts and I only cut the Chrystal Light two weeks out from contest so as not to bloat from the aspartame.

damn,, 6 liters of water a day? hmm.. maybe I should go up a bit.. 4-5liters for a 325lbs man might be too little..

Are there any Target stores in your area? They make their own brand as well that is sugar free and calorie free that is very low sodium. I like Crystal Light but the carbonation makes me bloated and these don't do that. I drink about 100 oz a day of this stuff and that's 0 calories.

As far as I can tell it is kind of like sugar-free sherbet powder stuff that they add to water to make something similar to cordial... crystal light.

It seems like a dried version of our cottee's diet cordials...

It is just a powder that you add to your water to give it flavor in case you don't like drinking plain water.
