hmm..1 scoop shouldn't be "thick and gross" Might be the brand you're using. I, personally, like Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey.

ack...no wonder! Thats the Whey Wal-Mart sells. I've tried that before and I hated it. If memory serves me, it has whey concentrate in it. Try a better brand.

Try different brands. I have tried various brands, and AllTheWhey tastes better than the others I have tried. I usually stick with chocolate.

Yeah, I'd say if you have to use the rest of what you have already bought (maybe in order for your parents to buy more), then just blend it as the others have suggested. Throw it in with some cottage cheese, milk, and strawberries and/or bananas. Then switch to Optimum Nutrition brand whey protein, chocolate. This is a really popular brand and I doubt you'll be disappointed with the taste. You can get it cheap in 10 pound bulk from bulknutrition.com

In the meantime (while you are using this stuff before you get some flavourful protein) you could try adding things like nut butters, milk, fruit, yoghurt, SF syrups, SF pudding mix, cinnamon, extracts (vanilla, banana etc)...

All things that might help drown out the flavour!

Alternatively, you could use this powder to cook with (bars/slices) and just go and get yourself something better!
