    PWO shake question

So i've been taking 1 scoop of ON weight gainer and 1 scoop of ON whey protien after workouts which gives me around 50g of protien. So that is good. However, today, I find out that a scoop of ON weight gainer has 125g of carbs. I remember from long time ago that you should try to minimize the carb intake after workouts. Does this idea still hold water? Should i just take whey protien instead of mixing the two?

Carbs and Whey preferrably in a 2:1 ratio (or as close as possible ) PWO. I believe that's what's more or less recommended. I think you mean minimize fats immediately PWO as they will slow down the absorption of Whey.
