    Breakfast ideas

I'm a 20 yr old ectomorph ( thin guy) from the UK, and was wondering if you guys had any ideas for breakfasts, I am always in a rush and never have chance to really cook, and I am getting fed up with protein shakes, cereals/ oats, and fruit. I am kinda getting sick of omlettes/ poached and boiled eggs too.

    HELP!

Why not have some chicken and rice with some PB (left overs fro the night before)? You do not need to have 'breakfast' food at breakfast.

i like chocolate milk with a huge scoop of Peanut Butter

I do this a lot if I am running late. Taste better than a protien shake. Sometimes i throw in some oats.

Yes.... You can cook whey (just cook the cake on a lower temperature). You could also go out and get some milk protein isolate, egg protein, casein protein or soy protein and cook with those - they cook better and they retain moisture in the recipe more.

Go to the recipe section and get some ideas for protein pancakes. Make a load when you have free time, put in freezer and when you want to eat it pop it in the toaster (perhaps while getting ready?). I like to add some PB on top of mine. Or make some sausage patties out of lean turkey or mince and cook those up too.

When I'm in a rush, I will make a shake consisting of cottage cheese, oats, milk, frozen strawberries, and whey protein. Why not just wake up a little bit earlier? I can't even function without eating breakfast.

When I find my oats getting a bit bland, I add a banana or some raisins or even some cinamon...

not a bad idea to just blend up a shake with oats, whey, FF CC, some natural PB, half a banana and a few frozen strawberries. I make that on days i'm in a hurry so I can drink it on my way out

Be careful cooking with whey. From what I understand the protein gets denatured pretty easily.

Denaturing the protein is not really a problem - it is still digestable and so you still get all the protein in it. It just loses some of it's other benefits (eg: immune function, anti-cancer function etc etc.)

    Breakfast Of Brutality:

Cook up some chicken breast, seasoned how you like prior to the morning, as in cook it the day before or earlier. then get the breast and just smash it down, for carbs i have brown rice with some spicy tomato based sauce, home made so you can control the sugar in the sauce..

then for fats take a few caps of fish oil/flax/whatever...?

i pretty much will always have a coffee with this shit, but its proper espresso machine, and i use one sachet of equal, which is a sweetener with like 5kj, and if i can be bothered i will use skim milk for a flat white, or else i just have it like a short black... just about 20ml of coffee, almost pure crema, fucking gorgous!!!!

anyways, its better to eat pure shit, rather than eat nothing@@@!11!OMFG

    bye PhiL
