    Processed meats

Processed meats are proven to contain sodium nitrite, which can cause cancer. So... how can I know what kind of meats to buy, and whether or not they're packaged with sodium nitrite?

processed meats do not provide the same amounts of nutrients. you shouldn't be consuming a lot of them

nothing wrong with canned fish they aren't really processed. any type of protein that is not in it's natural form should be considered processed

Ok, I have this supposedly organic turkey here. Here are the ingredients:

Organic turkey breast, water, sodium lactate (From beets), salt, Carrageenan (from seaweed)

Does this cut it, or not?
