    Question/concerns about egg whites

I usually have 3 egg whites every morning as part of my breakfast. My mother usually cooks them for me, and I do notice that she disposes of the yoke. However, I notice that when I eat the cooked whites, there is a bit of yellow color in them, and I think my mother just scoops the yoke out of the bowl when she breaks the eggs. My question is, does this add a good amount of fat or cholesterol to the eggs that I eat??

you should eat the yolks, you are wasting nutrients and 1/2 the protein. your genetics determine your cholesterol levels for the most part, plus it is the ratio of HDL:LDL which is most important
