    week off

I am currently bulking and taking a week off from training to "strategically decondition".... should I change my eating habbits( ie less caloric intake) or should I remain constant through this week. I wasnt sure what to think because my energy output during this time will be lowered... any suggestions and why you think this way?

I would stay the same... If you lower your cals that would be the same as technically "burning" them throuh excercise wouldnt it. Therefore what would be the purpose of a week off?

It depends on the person. Some people come back to maintainence calories or decrease their intake by ~5-10%. Others stick with their diet.

If you just drop out the cals from your PWO shake then that will probably be enough to 'pull back' cals slightly (to minimise any change of fat gain) whilst still keeping you slightly hypercalorific (to minimise any muscle loss and to maximise recovery).
