    Weight Gain Need Suggestions!!!!!!!!!!

Hi i'm about somewhere between 126 to 129 pounds and my height is 5'6 and i consider myself slim and i want to be around an 150 to 155 pounds, so about a 25 pound gain, first off can i achieve this weight gain in a year? if not how long would it take me??? What i need from you guys is a healthy meal plan maybe a few so i can try different one's and see whats best for me. How many calories do you think i need to consume each day, i'm 21 years old don't do much excercise, rarely play sports, i do sales all day and than chill at home or go out with friends so i don't burn much fat not like i have any anyways fast metabolism really suckz, u walk for like a minute and you burn fat like what the hell. So i need to know how many calories i need to consume to reach my desired weight knowing my physical characteristics and activities, also need some healthy meal plans if any of you can provide that i'd be more than gratefull and what excercises i should do before joining the gym and lifting weights. Sorry this is so long but any help would be highly appreciated.

    that's b/c yo post of 5am

to slow your metabolism down try eating 500-1000cal before you go to bed...wake up half way through you sleep and drink a shake w/ 30g pf protein/60g of carbs. This will do the trick if you willing to do it

until you start to exercise your probably won't see much change in body composition until you start to exercise on a regular basis. with a caloric excess and not excersing right now most likely you would gain more fat than muscle.

but one basic way to determine cals is to mutiply your bodyweight x 20

    130 x 20 = 2600

so you would start at eating 2,600 cals a day for 1-2 weeks. if you don't gain weight then increase the cals by 10% each week until you start to gain
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

25 pounds in a year.... Hmmm... That is just about 2 pounds a month.

If you want it to be mostly muscle - For a young, healthy male with a good training and diet program that is do-able.

If you want it to have a larger component of fat - that is do-able with a less ideal training and diet program.

No one can tell you how much you have to eat. You have to work that out for yourself. Basically - start by eating a reasonable amount. If you do not gain weight, eat more! Repeat until you get the desired results.

I'm pretty sure thats possible if you really focus.

I dont bother with calories because I find it takes to much time (especially since im lazy) but just each as much healthy food as possible. This includes a lot of complex carbs, chicken, fish and fruit and veg. Always eat til you're full. Space meals evenly through out the day otherwise you'll feal uncomfortable and your stomach will bulge.

You also have to combine this increased food regime with a structured and intense gym plan.

I'm also 21 and have put on ~ 5kg in muscle in the past few months which may not sound much but is a lot for me (and also keeping my body fat low). I have achieved this through the tips above.

    Hope this helps!
