Where are the lean meats, fish, Veggies, and whole Grains, Healthy fats?
Im thinking of going on a cut soon and half the foods I purchase now are going to have to be scraped. Anyway heres my list...
Chicken Breasts
Sara Lee Turkey/Ham
Milk
Planters Unsalted Nuts
Vegetarian Fed Chicken Eggs
Whole Wheat Sphagetti
12 Grain Bread (for PBJ sanches)
Oatmeal
Nuti Grain Bars (apple or strawberry)
Wheaties and Frosted Mini Wheats
Banana's
Whips Yogurt
I may be missing a few things but for the most part this is ALL I ever eat.
Are there any foods I should be adding to this list? Any foods I should be cutting from this list?
PS: My goal is a cut 210lbs by summer. Is their any benefit to cutting once in say November/December just to see how it feels? Or should I stay on my bulk diet and start cutting in the April/May months? Oh and what weight should I shoot for during my bulk if I want to be a lean 210 by summer?
Sorry, I kind of rambled but any help would be much appreciated.

Where do you get "lean meats" in the supermarket?
Do you need fish in your diet if your taking a fish oil supplement?
I occasionaly eat carrots but hate veggies in general. If you could only recomend one veggie what would it be?
Arent oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, 12 grain bread etc... "whole grains"?
Thanks so much for your input. I had no idea by diet was that bad.
90% lean ground Buffalo
yams
sweet potato's
Brown Basmati Rice
Skim milk
95% lean ground Turkey
fresh veggies and fruit
Natural organic WW bread
eggs
water
organic soup.....chicken
light coconut milk
black beans
shrimp
cottage cheese
natural peanut butter
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!
www.ironmaglabs.com
for lean meats try lean cuts of beef... chicken breast... salmon...tuna fish... stuff like that without a lot of fat in them... hence the "lean"
I would recomenned things like
cottage cheese
natural peanut butter
leafy veggies like spinach etc
yams
someone correct me if im wrong but i believe bannanas are high in sugars so there are better choices for fruits such as grapes
on the whole deal about the bread... I would use it sparingly...
I think jodi posted a "shopping list" some where in this forum... try a search it might help... this is all i can think of for now
I just bought a "lowfat" peanutbutter and it still has like 18% of your daily value in fat.
Oh and I also eat bananas right after my workout with a protein shake, for the most part.
I buy the same shit every sun...It never vary my diet. I just add more of the same food.
Im at that point too. I actually dont enjoy eating anymore. Thats why I want to know the optimal foods to eat since taste means nothing.Originally Posted by lnvanry

What's 'rocket' ? Is that Aussie slang for a type of veg?Salad ingredients - lettuce, tomato, mushroom, cucumber, celery, sprouts, peppers, rocket![]()
Just curious![]()
What's the point of buying "low fat" peanut butter? You should eat peanut butter for fat.Originally Posted by CancerNV

Here
arugula [uh-REW-guh-la] = arrugola = (in Britain ) rocket (salad) = tira = Italian cress = Mediterranean rocket = rugola = rugula = roquette = rucola With its peppery and slightly bitter flavor, arugula is a terrific green to throw into an otherwise boring salad. It can be gently braised, too. Some supermarkets sell it in small bunches, but you're more likely to find it combined with other greens in a spring salad mix. Equivalents: 1 cup = 1 ounce Substitutes: watercress OR tender spinach leaves plus dash of ground pepper OR Belgian endive OR escarole OR young dandelion greens (more bitter) OR young mustard greens OR chicory OR radicchio

I get more than enough fat in my diet. I dont need any more coming from high fat, processed, sugary peanutbutter.Originally Posted by KentDog

LOL - I hate to tell you but getting natural PB is going to give you more 'sugary processed crap' than just getting the natty stuff.Originally Posted by CancerNV
They add icing sugar, vegetable oil and salt to the low fat stuff. Natural PB just has 1 ingredient - peanuts.
I doubt you were eating true yams - you were probably eating sweet potato. Are red potatoes just as good nutritionaly speaking? They taste just like regular potatoes.
Red potato is fine. They do not have as much vit A as sweet potato and they will be a higher GI (if you are concerned with GI) but they can easily be added to a good nutrition program without a problem.

check the ingredients list....there shouldn't be many for it to be decent bread. Spouted Grain is good.... if you see enriched anywhere on the bread ingredients...it's not so healthy.Originally Posted by Zac_Champigny
