    I want to give up!!

Seriously, I wish I could eat whatever I want and stay in shape. I was grocery shopping the other day and I swear I was one of the few in the store that had a cart full of healthy groceries. Those other people's carts looked yummy: ice-cream, chips, chocolate, frozen junk food, TWINKIES. (Its been YEARS since I have had a twinkie . . ) Pepsi, Hamburger Helper and Captain Crunch.

What about the Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, and fried chicken. Even worse, the delicious cakes in the bakery aisle.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I think that feeling all the time. Just remind your self that looking and feeling good is better then anything can taste. Maybe not chicken wings and beer.

Life doesn't have to be an 'all or nothing' event. You do not live life so you can lie on your death bed and say to yourself 'damn life sucked.. but at least I ate healthy'!!

Sure - eat as best you can and feed your boy healthy and nutritious food. But do this 90% of the time. The other 10% you need to let yourself endulge a little!

Buy a small tub of ice-cream and have a bowl once a week. By yourself some cookies and have a few cookies every now and then. Every week enjoy one or two small meals that are not 'in your plan'!

Your body is not going to turn to a marshmellow just from this and, in the long run, it will help you stick to your diet as it will allow you to still be part of society!
