The Pre-workout meal shouldn't be within 30 minutes of the workout.
If you eat it right before than you will lose performance, because energy and blood is being devoted to digesting your food.
I have two quick questions?
1) How long after I finish eating my Pre-workout meal should I start working out? My preworkout meal is a whole wheat pita, 1 cup skim milk, 3 egg whites, some canned chicken, and 40g oatmeal which totals 478 cals, 5g fat, 72g carbs, 36g protein.
2) How long can I wait after my PWO shake before having my PPWO meal if my PWO shake is 70g oatmeal, 5oz banana, and 50g whey which is 562 cals, 6.5g fat, 74g carbs, 51g protein?
