    Coconut water

I read a couple articles on the benefits of coconut water (not juice, but water from the unripe green coconut). Does anyone here drink or atest to the benefits of coconut water? Just wondering.

I like coconut Juice,Especially when you pick um and the meat inside is really thin and you can spoon it out easily!
When I went and stayed overseas in Samoa,Tonga and Fiji. All I drank was Coconut juice, cause the water they drink is rain water, which is cool if its fresh, but it runs off the rooftops into these big cement tanks.....anyhows,its all I drank for a couple years also cause soda from america was like 3 dollars a can,but when I came back to the states,I couldnt even sip on a coke, that shit burned my throat.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in Miami, Cubans drink coconut water straight out of the coconut. It's a common thing I grew up with. Either at cafeterias, or roadside juice stands, fruit/vegetable "farmers' markets" and stuff - they keep the green coconuts on ice, and for about $2.00 a guy with a machete cracks a hole in an ice-cold coconut, sticks a bendy straw in the hole and hands it over... sip sip sip... it's damn good, and refreshing.

I've never really looked at the BENEFITS of it though.

Yeah coconut water is good for your body cleansing. Doctors recommended us to drink it especially if you have a Urinary Track Infection. It cleanse your kidney to have a good urinary system. You don't have to worry because it is purely clean. But be sure to have it direct from the coconut.

We drink that a lot in India, its pure and has all the natural minerals in it. In my state the temperature is always above 90F, water alone is not enough to replenish and the coconut juice is the natural Gatorade/powerade. And we always drink it straight from the (tender)coconut

You guys are going to lose. You might as well just cheer for me, because Boston isn’t winning in Boston for the season opener. I’m sorry. " - Gilbert Arenas
