So you only have 3-5 mins. Why not have a protein shake with oats mixed in and a little natty PB. You can even make it the night before, put it in your fridge (make sure you add enough water or milk because the oats will absorb alot) and then you can drink it when you first wake up.

    no excuses

    definetly...

Breakfast = breaking the fast, the name says it all. after the nightly fast the body needs nutrients to reverse the catabolic state that the body in. nobody that is serious about sports and especially bodybuilding skips breakfast. it takes 2-3 minutes to make a shake.

breakfast is the one time of the day where it is better to eat something unhealthy vs eating nothing. much better to eat Pop Tarts or a Snickers bar then go to with out food until lunch. that would be a good 12 hours with out food in the body, simply horrible...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

When I had to get up early in the moring for school, I got up a couple hours before class started... thank god for college... my earliest class is noon now . I'd just suggestion getting up earlier, breakfast is definately the most important meal of the day.

Eat like a King for breakfast is the motto!!

I don't like eating breakfast. It makes me feel to worn out early on in the day and I feel like it slows down my metabolism. I know I am one of the very few but its what i prefer.

that makes no sense at all

sounds like you have some sort of disorder going on (i know i need my breakfast to get me going in the morning), either that or you're eating way too much the night before!

your muscles have been without protein for a good 8 hours, and if you dont get any protein into them then the catabolic state you wake up in stays with you throughout the morning.
Have something, even if its not much, to get some nutrition into you.....

He is a she, lol. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the importance of eating a morning meal for most. I just don't and wont. Instead I follow a 12 hour fast, meaning I don't eat 12 hours from the last meal of the day to the next day.

Even when I competed in bodybuilding and fitness, and won every show by the way (without the use of steroids) I did not eat in the morning. When I biked across country i did not eat in the morning. The same goes for my runs across country. Just not a morning eater.

I figured I would hear about my post, the only point here is what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. God, if I ate in the morning like most of you guys and girls ( ) I'd be dragging all day.

But to make a long story short and to answer the question I don't eat anything in the morn.... nothing.... zilch.... I do however drink a few glasses of water and I am on my way. Maybe I just have to much energy... but no morning meal for me.
