Freshly squeezed OJ, not from concentrate

Ok, I've heard over and over that concentrate is bad.
But what about when its made from pasteurized orange juice?
Is it ok to put my protein and creatine in there?

I am fresh out of dextrose and need to put it in something besides pure sugar.

Firstly - pasturised orange juice is not technically 'freshly squeesed'...

Well - not as good as some things, but it is ok..

Oranges don't really have a lot of plain glucose in them - So if you wanted something higher in glucose (which would act more like dextrose) then pineapple juice would be better.. As would be eating some dates or dried apricots at the same time... I believe even apple juice and grape juice will has more plain glucose too...

This one time i bought this drink called GLEKOUSE. Supposedly all the sugar in it was straight glucose. It tasted good.

would putting whey and creatine in water and drinking it, and then eating a banana do the same thing?

Emma is right about this. Also, not all orange juice labeled "fresh" is either. One loophole that many manufacturers take advantage of is using UV sterilization in their process, which allows them to label their juice as "fresh" when actually it isn't any fresher than the stuff next to it on the shelf.

    Thanks for the info.

    Still, what about my question?

would putting whey and creatine in water and drinking it, and then eating a banana do the same thing?
    ???
I know fructose isn't the best simple sugar, but banana's do have some glucose and sucrose too.

    Banana would be ok.

But it does have a slightly lower GI (about 55) and being a whole (aka: non liquid) fruit it would also be slower to digest... It also has a good dose of starch as well (also slower to digest than plain glucose).

Thanks. Maybe a combo would be best then.
