    Drinks

I love Kool-Aid, Iced tea with the sugar in it. I have a glass of kool-aid about once a day. I hate doing it because it has so much sugar in it. What other refreshments are out there that taste good and are low in sugar. BTW I hate nutri-sweet so crystal light is out. I drink about a gallon of water a day already. I have a glass of milk daily. Is sunny-d a good drink? How bout those fruit drinks like ocean spray? I also drink orange juice.

    whats wrong with one glass?
if you are REALLY watching out for sugar, just stay away from it.... no need for a replacement.....

and if you REALLY need a replacement, stick with the orange juice... plenty of potassium!

If you are thirsty how about you just have a little more water? It is going to be the best thing for you... You could add some mint leaves or some wedges of orange, lemon or lime to add a little flavour if you wanted.

Other things could be herbal teas (no sugar) or green tea (no sugar)...

On a less healthy note there are the 'diet' drinks like diet-kool aid, diet coke etc etc (although you said you do not like artificial sweetener). Although I do not advocate drinking a gallon of these - having a glass a day would not be harmful. Then there are the sugar-free hot-chocolate mixes you can get...

Also - protein shakes could be something you could try.

But don't be fooled by 'fruit juices' thinking they are healthy for you - they are usually just purified sugar with all the good stuff taken out (and then with added sugar too). But if you really wanted them then you could make your own (include the pulp = fibre and water it down a little to dilute the sugar). You could also make your own vegetable juices (same principle - include the pulp and water it down.

Sunny-D is the worst drink I can imagine, It full of sugar and it makes me sick to my stomach for some reason. Sugar free Koolaid is the way to go. I go through a half a gallon a day.

it is sugar that you crave

your hooked on sugar like everyone else.
make a point to eliminate it.
Don't drink sugar flavored drinks. I worked at a soft drink bottler once.
There's like 12 tablespoons of sugar in a can of soda. They bring it in by the railcar load
Why do you think we have an obesity and diabetes problem in this country.

The less you consume the less your body will crave it.

Our society has become sugar junkies.

Besides, it is corrosive to your body.

If you must sweeten, try a small amount of honey.

Whoa, i must have eaten to much sugar!
