    Cousin

    My cousin is 13 nearly 14 hes 5 ft 6 lives in the UK, and is classed as 'over weight' hes always moaning about bein muscley, he eating pretty healthily, but has a inactive thyroid ( I think its very slow), are there any tips u guys can give me for him? I no hes only young but hes getting on my nerves lol.

    Jeez, hes not even 14, he should enjoy being a kid. He will lose his "fat" just by growing up and getting taller. He shouldnt worry about anything yet (as far as im concerned).

    how is he classed as over weight?

    if done by Body Mass Index then i am classified as obese (BMI > 30) and yet my BF is only 14%

    Because hes quite big for his age, he's alot of body fat, it's not done by body fat it's not my a scale n a height chart or something.

    Just tell him to cut out soda, candy, junk food... the obvious stuff.

    Anyone that is fat at 13 will more than likely have a lot of crap in their diet and their parents probably aren't helping much
