    last meal question

Sometimes I get behind in my meal schedule and have my fifth meal (usually something like chicken/rice/veggies) at 10 p.m. If I'm going to bed at 11:30 am I better off eating meal 6 of CC and NPB then or just skipping it? Seems kind of close to meal 5, which makes me wonder.

no such thing as too close to your last meal buddy. Better to eat more frequently than less.

If it fits into your meal plan(i suppose you are cutting), go ahead.

As long as it does not happen too often it is not going to make a big difference either way.

If you are hungry, or if you feel like having it, then have your 6th meal. If you are satisfied or if eating such a large amount so close to bed causes you to have an upset stomach, then you may be better off skipping it.

If you wanted to have the calories you could also swap to a liquid meal - using a casein powder and blending it with some PB...

Alternatively, instead of having a meal 6, just make meal 5 slightly bigger than you normally would eat. For example, have an extra 1-2 oz of chicken and then add the PB to the meal too... That way your calories are not that different for the day, but you are not eating so close to bed as to give yourself stomach cramps.

I usually try to get in all my calories for the day. Of course, I'm more concerned with maintaining or gaining muscle as opposed to losing fat. I often eat two meals only an hour apart if need be.

By the same token, if this doesn't happen frequently as Emma said, then it really isn't going to make a difference.
