how does one go about cooking egg whites? dont really want to eat them raw. at the moment i scramble whole eggs, just worried about the choleteral in the yolk. which is why i want to know how you cook just the whites? thanks in advance for your help, tom

You should cook them regardless... And the cholesterol in the yolk is not really going to be an issue (although the total fat might be if you have more than 2 or so)...Originally Posted by tom_sparco
But you can cook them in the same way as whole eggs: scramble them, poach them, make an omelette, make a frittata, make egg-white pancakes (with oats), hard boil the egg then remove the yolk (or eat one yolk and then the rest of the eggs as whites), make stir-fries.... etc etc...
