Which is a better way to bulk?

As of right now I don't have the resources to have the perfect diet, however I have two available options that will work for now. I realize both of these aren't as good as a clean bulk, but i'm wondering which would be better. Either I pick a dirty bulk, basically eat burger king and anything that I can get my hands on to get enough calories for the day. Or I can substitute weight gainer shakes to provide the calories, and eat healthy for all other meals. Which way do you think we ultimate provide me with more muscle mass? I have around 11% body fat now, since I do no cardio, and have been doing a dirty bulk. Any idea's would be appreciated, Happy Holidays!

A slow clean bulk is best, the only thing I see here on IM that is still 1960's mantality is the idea you have to gain fat to gain muscle.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

yup! Most weight gainers are crap and drinking that and eating at Burger King is gonna put more fat on you than you're gonna want - stick to clean food.

great post.....I have a friend who is eating frozen pizza and wings because there high in calories, but they are super high in Saturated fat and salt, plus the amount of protein versus a lean healthy meal doesn't even compare. he eats 1000 calorie pizza, get 30 g. protein, I have a nice lean staek and potato and brocaolli....I get 50 some odd grams of protein, and no saturated fat...so there it is...

Right, because we all know it's impossible for some one to dye their hair!

I've always liked lee priest, he was the first body builder I ever read about when I first got a magazine at age 7.

    And yes thats him.

I thought I read he doesn't "let himself go" that far in the offseason anymore (just can't remember where I read that).

Why bulk so dirty that you set yourself up for such a mountain of work to lean out when cutting? I guess it depends how much you enjoy doing cardio and playing with your diet.

Forget the weight gainers as well. There's lots of "healthy" calorie dense foods you can pick that will actually give you nutritional benefits beyond just a single goal of adding mass.
