    Wendy's Chilli

Sometimes I eat this when I'm away from home and there is absolutely nothing else. Is this acceptable?

It's not as bad as some other stuff you could eat.

according to their website, a small wendy's chili is:

    220 calories
    6g fat
    23g carb
    5g fiber
    6g sugar
    14g protein

you'd be way better off eating that than skipping a meal. have at it.

Last I recall wendy's chili meat was Grade E - for edible

it's the left over hamburgers that they don't sell. Personally I'd find something else at a convenient store before eating this but as others have said, it's better than skipping.

Wendy's meat isn't that bad....its fresh meat never frozen....the meat in the chili is meat that was on the grill too long and couldn't be served. Since their meat is from the grill to your bun what is cooked too long goes into a pan of water on the grill and then a couple times a day they drain it and bag it up for making chili. They chop it up after they boil the fat out of it. So its not bad for you. The only part about their chili I don't care for is the high salt content. Anyways I know all this because I worked there in high school.

Never said you shouldn't have fat. It's just that most fast food places use the cheap generic processed "cheese" and it's not all that good for you. But I guess it's your call. Personally, I'm the same way, I get the cheese. Guess I'm a trouble maker like that.

I just like cheese. Real, fake, processed, whatever. If it's cheese I'm all about it.

if you're going to eat at Wendy's, or any fast food burger joint, you might as well get a triple decker cheeseburger with bacon and at least enjoy the shit food you are consuming!

Because a cheat meal back then was when you had to eat something healthy and you felt cheated of the pleasure your were missing out on.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Back then I didn't give two shits about what was healthy, but I ate lots of veggies. Why did I get so damn fat?
