    Using Accelerade

I was turned on to this stuff called Accelerade. It's really good stuff.
I start drinking half the mixture 10 minutes before my workout. During I mix it with a half gallon of water and the pumps I get are unreal. My skin feels (and looks) like its going to burst through. I also dont get as achy after my workout-so I am assuming its speeds recovery time.
Really good stuff. From what I gather all it is malto, a form of Gatorade and a small amount of whey.

I use it, not many pumps, but great for energy. It is gatorade with a little protein" in it.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Tricreatine malate makes it taste even better, I think the sourness balances it out.

There's no TM in it. just Sucrose, whey protein concentrate, Trehalose (Ascend) citric acid, fructose, maltodextrin, lecithin, magnesium carbonate, Salt, Natural Flavor, monopotassium phosphate, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E Acetate, FD&C Red 40.

I know, I add the Tricreatine malate, that is how it balances out the taste.

and so does dextrose. BTW-Dex is a cheaper, more readily available product then supplement X is. Dont buy into the fact that the rag mags say this product is good. I'd say 60-70% of the supps out there are basic shit.

    accelerade is good stuff however

i currently use it as well, as its cheaper than gatorade (around 50c for 12oz) and is much better endurance wise

their major advertisement in the product seems to be their research on protein with carbs for endurance, compared to just carbs for endurance
the protein is i think 5 g per glass, which is not much, but i does work far better than gatorade

its also the same company that makes endurox r4 i think, which also has great post workout reviews

oh of course - making your own supplements are the way to go!
but unfortunetly many people don't know what they are taking, and choose retail supplements such as endurox r4

im not sure if endurox r4 is anything great at all, ive just heard great things about.... im prety sure its for endurace (recovery) as well, not for strength gains too
