    Is sugar really necessary for the body, why or why not?

    The Brain cannot burn anything but sugar, but the body metabolizes any carbohydrate into sugar so Sugar itself is unecessary.

    Well seeing that i have ESP, I find what you say to not be factual. Should I decide to think hard enough, i can burn all the weeds in your field from my location with little or no sugar.

    This is untrue. The brain can function on keytones.

    Sugar as in sucrose is not necessary. Complex carbs, fruits etc....will give you what you need for glycogen.
