For those of you that go to college

I start class tommorow and after reviewing my schedule I have a question for everybody here who balances a 5-6 meal a day eating habit with full time school. I dont go to class and while yes I could make my meals and take them with me, I am worried about food poisoning having food sitting in my bag and/or car all day long due to lack of a place to prepare or store my food. Any suggestions?? My schedule is 8am-10:45 then a break until my class at 12:30-3:15. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

it obviously depends what type of food your eating - whey protein and protein bars aren't effected albeit a worse taste by the warm weather.

then again, you could just get a small cooler/lunch box and some ice packs and have whatever you want, whenever you want.

If you are concerned about food poisoning, then what you think when you eat out? They keep a lot of stuff frozen for a while, same when you keep stuff at home in the fridge. As long as you cook it thoroughly and use clean containers, you'll be fine.
You can eat a good breakfast before your 8am class(eggs, oatmeal, milk, whole wheat bread, etc), then during the break you can have lunch(I buy pre cooked chicken breast and frozen vegetables, those you can prepare easily), some chicken breast with veggies and maybe a baked potatoe or a tuna sandwich would do it. If you don't have a break during you class (from 12:30 to 3:15pm) then you can take a protein shake afterwards or a bar.
I go to school full time too and usually I carry breakfast and lunch in my bag, I try to have stuff that I know won't need to be in the fridge. Also, always carry a protein bar, because you never know.
Those are some ideas. Also, you can make some pasta(whole wheat) get some Ragu and the precooked chicken breast, some veggies and there you have a decent meal.
    Hope it helps.
    Good luck bro

What do you mean pre cooked chicken breast? Your own pre cooked? Or store bought?

haha there is this great new breakthrough called a stove. helps to cook things.

just playin man, you could prob buy some pre cooked chicken in stores or just buy a lbs of chix breat and cook it up. rice stays pretty good staying out of the fridge and most veggies are ok also. get a glad plastic bin, throw some cooked chix in there, a blend of veggies and top with a cup or 2 of rice and vwallla, a meal. or get some peanut butter and light jelly sandwiches. def good shit. i woul prob stay away from deli meats and such, i am always weary of keeping those out. throw some oats on your pb&j sandwich, get creative.

i leave my whey or mrp in powder form in my shakers until i am ready to use them. water is everywhere now a days. just fill and shake. instant shake.

possiblites are endless. eat eat eat. dont be shy..

I just dont understand why a commercial company can't fuggin make a bar that's clean with good ingredients, if we can do it why can't they? I would pay 3.00/bar for something that's clean.

When I am forced to eat at school, which is 3 times a week. I take muscle milk, and 2-3 slices of bread with me. It's fast enough to eat in 5 minutes if needed and doesn't go bad.
