Put together a weight gain shake.Oppinions needed.

I was thinking about drinking this after I workout and before bed.

    peanut butter 2tbs 190(cal) 8g(protein)
    Oates 1/2 cup 150(cal) 5g(protein)
    Grape jelly 1tbs 50(cal) 0g(protein)
    Olive oil(extra virgin) 2tbsp 250(cal) 0g(protein)
    Milk 2% 2 cups 240(cal) 16g(protein)

    Total = 880 calories
    29g protein

It also has fats from the peanut butter and olive oil.

Now I am planning on buying a protein powder to add another 40g of protein
which will be about 60g of protein.

I have a high metabolism and I am looking to put on weight but with muscle not fat.

First what do you think of the shake? Anythnig I should change? Too much olive oil?

Second, am I going to get fat with this?
I plan on eating a good healthy diet, drink plenty of water and train hard and heavy.I figured this shake will give a big boost of calories and protein to help me grow.

OMG That for 1, sounds so disgusting. 2. Too much fat for PWO.

If you are bulking - have whey, milk, oats and maybe some fruit. You don't want that much fat PWO. A little is fine but that is too much.

Then an hour later have a meal of P/C/F of real food.

It may be disgusting to some but I would have no problem drinking it.

    How about this:
Whey protein, milk, oats and some fruit after I workout

and the above before bed (minus the olive oil)

olive oil!!!!!!!!!!! WTF? You might as well throw some motor oil in there for taste. Keep it simple. I just put 2 tbs of peanut butter, a bannana, some whey, and milk. yogurt is always good too.

Here's what I've been using for a while, while bulking.

    Protein Drink:
    1 scoops Protein,
    2 scoops (0.66 cups) oatmeal
    2 tbs PB
1 cup skim milk (or water, or 1% whatever you want)
1 banana AND 4 frozen strawberries

I don't really care about the taste. The reason why I put olive oil was because it has a good amount of calories.

I was trying to put something together that was high in protein and high in calories. I took it off the list though for my postworkout shake.

As far as motor oil.....it's actually not that bad.I put it in my salads with a little bit of brake fluid and it gives it a nice southern organic taste.

One night when I was extremely intoxicated, my friend made me this extremely tasty concocktion(sp?). It consisted of 3 raw eggs, dog food, cat food, about a dozen moths, around a dozen spiders and last but not least 2 slugs. I took it down like a champ, but guess what I was puking up an hour later. It was the nastiest thing i've ever had before, bar none. I did make $15, but I don't know if it was worth the stomach issues I had the following day.

I wonder how many grams of protein were in that tasty shake???

There are some really good PWO shake recipies (and meal recipies, too) in this book, check it out of your local library sometime. It's a good read.
