    Zinc

How much is too much zinc?

If I take a multivitamin in the morning and evening, it gives me 50mg of zinc.
Then I take a ZMA blend before bed, yielding another 30mg.

    Is that too much?

Are you sure those are the doses??!! They are REALLY high... Is that the ZINC or is that the amount of overall substance (eg: is it 50mg of ZINC or 50mg of zinc gluconate with will give you xmg of zn)??

Usually supps will only give you 5-15mg...

But... Yeah.... You might be getting a little too much (esp if you then consider you will be getting zinc from your food as well)... You don't want to really get more than about 40mg/day for a significant portion of time - it can interfere with copper levels in your body...
