    Cheat Meal Timing

Does it have any influence on your diet when you have a cheat meal/day?

I was thinking...I always have my cheat meal or meals on the weekend, when I'm with my friends.

Would it be more beneficial to have my cheat meal on Friday night since I do arms that day, and it would be my PPWO meal, or does it not make any differnce? I figured it would be more anabolic to have it after a hard workout day.

I would think it would cause more fat gain to have a huge cheat meal on a day where I'm just sitting around the house, maybe wash my car but not really any real exercise, for example a Saturday.

Some people use it as a PWO 'treat', others don't - it doesn't make a huge difference (although, yes, it is more anabolic after a workout... although you an 'arms' workout isn't all that anabolic... you would be better off with it after a legs day or something of that nature)...

Why not use your cheat meal as a cheat - so if you want it on the weekend when you are doing nothing, then HAVE it then... IT IS A CHEAT!! Enjoy it!!

If you want to use a 're-feed' or a 'carb up' as an anabolic aid, then do that around workouts.

I personally allow for some level of freedom food daily if I choose to use it, and I also allow for a couple of cheat meals when I hang with my friends on the weekend. I tighten up a little more during the week if I am cutting weight, but it never really hurt me too much having a few cheats on the weekends.
