    Flax

How important is an oil to a slow cut diet? I have heard that just the addition of oil can make a big difference. My main source of fat is 3 cups of cottage cheese daily and a couple glasses of milk. I do not shy away from fats at all at this time.

The fat from dairy is not the best fat source. Why not try oil olive, natural peanut butter, fish oils, and nuts?

Bump to this... Your fat sources are REALLY bad - cottage cheese and milk will give you a lot of saturated fats and not any mono or poly unsaturated fats.

Drop to skim products for your dairy and add healthy fats from nuts, seeds, fatty fish (and fish oil caps), avocado and olive oil.

You do not need flax (if your diet is healthy) but I would recommend some fish oil caps - 6-8g per day.
