I'm still a little new to bulking and cutting. I am 6'4" tall. I bulked up to about 235 and cut back down to 210 with pretty good results. My question - I didn't like the amount of fat I gained when at my heaviest. Will shorter, faster cycles of bulking and cutting (maybe gaining 10 or 15 lbs.) help me gain muscle and lose fat just as well? Or for the bulking to be affective do I need to gain more weight before I cut back? Thanks.

But, shorter bulking and cutting cycles are a good idea IMO. I did a 4 month bulk last summer and was miserable. Since then, I've done a couple of 6-8 week bulks with great results. Plus, I feel much better without so much extra weight.
