    Tuna Burger Idea

    Ok I have this idea...

It's probably a bad idea, and I haven't tried it yet, but if someone were to try to make a tuna burger out of a can of tuna, how would this turn out?

    Anyone tried it?

actually yes... I will get you the recipe, my mom does this all the time and they are SO tasty. They are however, fried (in olive oil), so they get crispy and really delicious. It isn't just tuna though, I'll find out what else is in it (tuna is the only meat in it, but I think she tosses in vegetables/other seasoning of sort). I probably have it once a month.

Edit: Also works with Salmon from the can, only I'm very picky about the parts that I eat, because I dont like to eat the big bones that come in the can (that are apparently edible), so i usually end up throwing away half the can of salmon ... still workin on the recipe for ya.

    1 can tuna
    4 tbsp ground flax seed
    2 egg whites
2 tbsp each chopped onion and celery

mix in a bowl until combined well. Form into 2 patties, toss em on a grill or fry em up in a pan, tastes great with a little mustard on some whole wheat bread. Love em.

Isaiah's Spicy Tuna Burgers by Isaiah Juarez Holland
    Serves 2
This is actually my son's recipe. This easy tuna burger has a very spicy flavor with a zing of lemon. It came out perfect the first try; just goes to show how much our kids can learn about food just from watching us.

    Ingredients:

1 can solid white albacore tuna, drained
    1 tablespoon bread crumbs optional
    1 large egg white
    1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
    1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

Directions: Mix all ingredients together in small bowl. Form two patties and cook on a pre-heated non-stick pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray until tuna patties are slightly browned. Served on beds of lettuce (low carb) or on slices of Ezekial 4:9 bread.

    Nutritional Information (Recipe Total):
    Per Serving: Calories- 205 Carbs- 5g Protein- 28g Fat- 7g Fiber- 1g
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!
