    Whole Wheat Pasta

This stuff is expensive. Like 3 times the amount of regular. What makes whole wheat pasta so much better then regular pasta that has seminole, or whatever that ingredient is. Also, are egg noodles a staple pasta?

o yeah. I would venture to guess it's because most pasta's are made from wheat that has the bran removed, like reg. all purpose flour. Pasta is commonly made from Durum Semonlina flour, but is processed and stripped of it's outer hull. Kind of like white v.s. brown rice. Egg noodles. I guess if you want. They are probablyu the most filling, becuase you get more volume per 2oz. serving, atleast in the ones I but. They are like 1.5 cups per serving.
