    what the?? post workout shake

The best Pre and Post W/O should actually looks like this:
0.2 g/lb high glycemic index carbs
0.1 g/lb protein from whey (or Just 5 grams of BCAA or 15 grams of EAAs)

You would consume this mixture in water both pre and post OR during and post.

I got the following from another forum, so taht means since i wehg 170lbs, i shoudl only get 17 g of protein in my postworkout shake??
    U guys agree or what?

the same guy is saying, this also

    You are looking for:
    Protein-15-30%,
    carbohydrates-40-75%,
    fat-10-30%
    ...of your total calories

The ideal range of protein for growth is .6-.9 grams per pound of body weight.

and hes giving advice for a bulk, I dont agree with the .6 - .9 g of protein at ALL, what u guyus think about this?

On a bulk, I'd try 1.1g on non-workout days, and 1.3 on workout days. I just personally place a lot more importance on carbs and healthy fats. Of course everyone is different. I also realize that nitrogen is a nitrogenous waste, so I'm not in to the high protein diets. All hail to the Urea Cycle!

After a workout I think you should get 35-45g of protein, and 70-100g of carbs.
