    Carbs after workout? What type....

After reading the various posts on the amount of carbs to have post-workout I'm now feeling more confident about how much to have.

BUT, what kind of carbs? When it's recommended that you have ~200g after, does that mean in, for example, sugar or potato/pasta form?

    THANKS!!
I love it when a plan comes together.

Best Carbs (in my opinion) -
    Skim milk
High glucose fruits (eg: banana, blueberries, pineapple)
    Dextrose
    Thinly ground rolled oats

But ~200g??!! Umm... I doubt that you need THAT much - not unless you are 400 pounds of pure muscle! Aim for 0.33-0.5g/pound...

I have my PWO shake at the gym, so i just get sum dextrose, pre and PWO are the only times for HIGH gi carbs, so dextrose is good i think , makes ur whey taste sweet as hell.
