I am abot 5'6... 150lbs- been lifting for about 8 years (non competition) just do it to keep in shape and stay fit. I lift about 3-4 times a week.
Here is my question:
I notice sometimes when I look at myself in mirror- I look more muscular then other times - Sometimes I look and it looks as though I have not worked out in weeks.......other times- I look more ripped and cut. (regardless if I've just worked out or not)
What affects this other than actually getting pumped up after working out?
Does diet or time of day affect this??? I am not a bodybuilder so I do not diet heavily for competitions- It's just something I've noticed and wondered why.
