No not necessarily. The body does use the same fat cells and they only get larger instead of creating more, but there are times, such as after lipo and or extreme dieting and then fat gain, that they can create more.Originally Posted by BulkMeUp

I always thought the cells just got bigger or smaller and the number of the cells pretty much stayed the same... but I have never really looked into it much. I just remember something like that from grade 10 biology class.
