i do some cardio for a while in the morning and usually lift weights in the afternoon, and i was wondering what was the best time to have a protein shake. (i already have a fruit smoothie with protein in the middle of the day).
Should I have it before I work out in the morning, or after? Or is it better to have it at the end of the day before I go to sleep?
Yes, have a shake before you do your cardio and then again after your resistance training. Create a PWO shake for your afternoon one out of oats, skim milk and some fruit.
