i say go with the whole wheat or grain ones.. ive had ones that had like 5-8 grams of fiber, and as long as u dont have too much andn stay within ur cal range, ur fine.

The good news is that wraps and tortillas have gone low carb, high fiber. They're preferable to breads as they are an acceptable form of slower release starchy carb - and they're now available in many flavors, in most larger food retail chains throughout the US. Whole wheat, multi-grain flavored varieties range from herb and garlic to rosemary basil and tomato. They are also available as small and larger rounds, making them highly adaptable for quick food prep at home or packed for a meal on the go.

A tip: For those of you who are looking for lean mass gains or to cut body fat mass, wraps and tortillias are a great way to mix your protein, cheese, fiberous vegetables and lower GI carbs in one easy to make and tote meal. The secret lies in the combination of fiberous carbs in the vegetables (celery, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce or cabbage, zucchini, mushrooms, onions etc) and the high fiber (8-15 grams per serving) complex starch carbs in these tortillas and wraps. The multiple fiber sources slow down fat and glucose absorption, and improve energy production and glycogen storage potential. Moreover, these wrap meals are packed with essential micronutrients and antioxidants, providing some of the best bang for buck from your food dollar and calorie intake.

Two thumbs up for the use of these healthy carbs in your diet!

As it was said - you could look into the higher fiber/lower carb wraps and fill it with fresh vegetables and some lean meat/protein and a little healthy fat. You could also fill it with some kind carbs if you did actually want the carbs.. So things like lentils, kidney beans or other legumes would all go well as filling!

Some of the best that I have seen are these sprouted frenchmeadow tortillas. They are high in fiber, low in carbs and don't have any nasty ingredients (like partially hydrogenated oils).

i love tortillas, although they haven't got the best micronutrient profile in the world as long as you keep them within you carb quotas for the meal/day they are fine IMO, espeically filled with things like chicken, salad and beans/veg, delicious and nutritious
