I hear all this stuff about "insulin spike" and dextrose and glucose and stuff...I'm not going to lie, I don't understand any of it. But I do hear that simple carbs are good PWO...so is it okay to add fruit? Or would I be better off with oats? (sure as hell hope not...try this shake recipe if you haven't. it's fantastic.)
