Uncle Ben's Rice in a bag
If you guys haven't tried this yet, I HIGHLY recommend it.
You literally just tear open the bag 1inch (there's a little nick in it already so it's a piece of cake to open), throw it in the microwave for 90seconds, and VIOLA! They have it in brown whole grain rice, and it was AWESOME ![]()
You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. Dat's why I'm going to kill you lahst.

it's kind of expensive as far as rice is concerned (can't remember the exact price), but the convenience is priceless.

Organic brown rice (short or long grain) is good too; it's less than 2 bucks a pound.
Cook up a couple of cups, store it in the fridge, and you're good to go for a few days. Pop it in the microwave (to re-heat) for less than a minute and it's ready to plate. If instant is your gig, then go for it. ![]() |
