low carb foods?

hi, can anyone give me a list of low carb foods i could eat in place of complex carbs in order to cut? thanks, tom.

You could use fibrous or high water vegetables... (lettuce, celery, cucumber, broccoli etc etc)...

Then just make sure you are getting enough protein and an adequate level of fats.

But one of the aims of cutting carbs from your diet is that you are trying to create a calorie deficiency - so you don't really "replace them" with anything because you need to make sure that this deficiency is maintained.

so do protein sources contain carbs as well? i e poultry fish beans etc

Go and explore www.nutritiondata.com
Type in the food you want to know about and it will tell you how much protein/carbs etc it has in it.
